Guidelines for applicants for Center Support
Potential applicants of Center support should first submit a letter of intent for consideration by the Foundation board, outlining on no more than four pages how a proposed three year research plan may be of particular practical value within the defined scope of the Foundation, and of relevance for the Guidelines 2010 review process.
This letter of intent should be submitted by the head of the research group in question and accompanied by the CV and a list of the last three years of publications for this person.
The Board will on this basis make a preliminary consideration of the relevance and practical importance of the outlined research program. If approved in principle, the research group will be invited to submit a more formal and complete application, of maximum 16 pages + relevant attachments. - the institution will be willing to allocate “matching funds” to a possible Foundation support, on top of the support the research group is already receiving, and
- the institution will forego any institutional overhead charges a Foundation center support
