• Establishment of SAFER
• Establishment of The Bjørn Lind Research fellowship/stipend
• Support of The Acute Care Forum in Western Norway
• Partial funding of a Chair of Acute Medicine at the University of Stavanger/
  the Stavanger University Hospital
• Support of the Scandinavian Journal of Trauma, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine
• Support of six international conferences in acute medicine in Stavanger over the last eight years

• Partial funding of The Chair in Acute Medicine at the University of Oslo
• Establishment of the Laerdal Honorary Award in Acute Medicine at the University of Oslo
• Development of The Norwegian Medical Index in collaboration with the Norwegian Medical Association
