USD 10 mill earmarked for MDG 4 and MDG 5 related project
The board believes there is a very important time window in the next 3 years for accellerating the implementation of innovative projects to help reach the UN Millenium Developement Goals (MDGs) no 4 and 5. The board has therefore decided to extraordinarily double the available grants from USD 3,5 mill to USD 7 mill for each of the next three years, and to earmark 50 percent of these grants for MDG 4 and MDG 5 related projects. read more
Marking the Golden Anniversary of CPR in 2010
2010 will be the 50th anniversary since the introduction of modern CPR. The Laerdal Foundation will mark this by co-funding with the American Heart Association a History of CPR video/DVD of broadcast quality, and five special grants for implementation and evaluation of innovative CPR school programs.
