The increased funds have made it possible to significantly increase annual grants,
to a level of USD 7 mill (NOK 40 mill) in 2012.
In recent years the Board has earmarked a growing portion of the grants to Center Support, strengthening of the acute medicine environment in Stavanger and Norway, and to projects in developing countries.
