The Foundation has earmarked a significant share of its annual funding for practically oriented research that can help save lives in low-resource settings.
This includes projects that strengthen emergency care, resuscitation, trauma care, and maternal and newborn survival on the day of birth (including stillbirths), with a continued emphasis on interventions that can be implemented and scaled in resource-constrained environments.
We expect to fund up to 20 projects per year in this category, with a maximum amount of USD 50,000 per project and an average award of approximately USD 30,000.
